Video Review and Analysis

Dave will personally review your video of yourself racewalking and will analyze it and report back pointing out weaknesses in your current technique and give solutions for correcting them, including drills, stretching and strengthening exercises.

What to Include

I'm not looking for Francis Ford Coppola—although he makes an awfully nice merlot. I just need to see some clear shots of your racewalking technique at training and race paces from the side, and a couple of shots from the front and back. A few passes by the camera from the left and right sides at training and race pace, and one or two from the front and back should do the trick. I don't need to see 3 1/2 hours of footage. If you were DQ'd in a race and can't figure out why or what to do about it, shots from that race would certainly be a bonus. I can work with just about any digital format, and I can probably pull out my old Mini-DV camera, VHS or DVD player if that's what you're into.
